Overview

The Junior Moulton Medal is awarded to Luke Forster, Meng Student Le Yu, Dr Carmine D’Agostino, Michal Lutecki and Henrik Fordsmand.

The Junior Moulton Medal is awarded for a timely and relevant paper at the heart of chemical engineering. The work looks at transport properties in porous catalytic materials through tailoring of textural properties and holds potential for impact in other contexts.

The 2021 Junior Moulton Medal goes to a relevant and timely paper at the heart of chemical engineering by current PhD student Luke Forster, Meng Student Le Yu, and Lecturer Dr Carmine D’Agostino from The University of Manchester, as well as research scientists Michal Lutecki and Henrik Fordsmand from Haldor Topsøe A/S, Denmark. This work looks at transport properties in porous catalytic materials though tailoring of textural properties. The judging committee felt that this work was very thorough and held potential for impact in other contexts.
