Webinar: Obsolescence Management of Automation Software Components
  • Date From 15th October 2021
  • Date To 15th October 2021
  • Price Free of charge, open to all.
  • Location Online: 08:30 BST. Duration: 1 hour.

Overview

With extensive and growing automation in all industry sectors, obsolescence management of software components has become equally critical to that of hardware components. While the principles that govern the management of hardware obsolescence can be generally applied to software, there are key differences that must be considered. Software does not wear out but tends to be modified more often, and as such issues arise around the obsolescence of associated tools and the operating systems and hardware on which they run.

This webinar is aimed at instrumentation and control plus control and automation engineers.
