Overview

On average, large projects run 45% over budget, 7% over time and deliver 56% less value than predicted [Mckinsey-Oxford study, 2012]. The Association for Project Management (APM) state up to 80% of projects fail to wholly meet their outcomes.

This talk discusses if AI can be applied to project management to improve project success. It categorises how AI is impacting current software applications and, in particular, discusses how AI is addressing the long established need for accurate forecasting to enable effective business strategy.
