Overview

This webinar series is aimed at anyone working in the water sector who is interested in the operation and management of the national supply of water. This session will give an overview of the state of water in Malaysia and review of the strategy for a sustainable future

Presenter

Datuk Ir Abdul Kadir Mohd Din, President, MWA 

Datuk Ir Abdul Kadir Mohd Din is the Managing Director of Sacra Sol Sdn Bhd, offering advisory services on water, wastewater, by products, green technology and environmental management.  

He graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, and is a Professional Engineer. He was also appointed as Board of Director for Ranhill SAJ Sdn Bhd since July 2017 and is currently President of The Malaysian Water Association (MWA) for 2017-2021. He was the former CEO of IWK, a national sewerage company from 2009 to 30 November 2016.

He has more than 36 years of industry experience in the water and sewerage sectors and has extensive experience in planning, designing, managing water and sewerage works projects in Malaysia, the United Kingdom, Brunei, Middle East and Singapore. He was the former COO with PAAB, Malaysia’s Water Asset Management Company, from 2007 to November 2009.

A one-hour online session: 40 minutes' presentation + 20 minutes' Q&A.
