Stephanie Wong obtained her Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from University College London. With a decade of experience in FSRU marine projects, Stephanie currently works as technical manager at MOL Shipping Company in London. She has a strong focus on renewable energy and committed to sustainable shipping practices.

Pete Abernethy

Pete is a chartered Chemical Engineer, with over 25 years' international oil and gas experience in both service and operator companies and has worked on FPSO projects like Schiehallion, PSVM and Catcher to fixed jacket platforms like Clair Ridge to Buzzard. Currently works as the Head of Projects in an Engineering Company.

Mona Bhagat

Mona is Business Development Director - Energy Transition at KBR Consulting International which is part of the KBR Sustainable technology solutions business. She has over 25 years' international oil and gas, energy transition and LNG experience. This includes 5 years working within energy transition in a leadership role and 20 years of international oil and gas experience working for both E&P and engineering companies throughout the EMEA region.

Suzy Hunter

Suzy has a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh. She has 17 years' experience working for engineering firms on international oil and gas projects. Currently Suzy is Head of Terminals & Projects at Avenir LNG.

Mark Hazell

Committee member

Mark has over 25 years' experience of working for Operators and consultants in the oil and gas industry latterly in senior Project Management and Operations Management roles. A Chartered Chemical Engineer by background, he has had broad exposure to all aspects of the business, from supporting the earliest phases of asset acquisition, through exploration and development into operations and eventual decommissioning. He has worked on onshore and offshore developments ranging in size from fasttrack $multi-million satellite tie-backs to major $multi-billion greenfield projects in the UK and overseas. Mark has also worked in both midstream (gas storage and transmission) and downstream (petro-chemicals) businesses.
