Amanda is a process lead with 20 years’ experience in water and wastewater treatment in UK and globally. Her experience is in the design of water and wastewater treatment systems and in realising resource recovery from the urban water cycle and in delivering sustainable process solutions.

Alexandra Meldrum

Alexandra is IChemE Vice President (Learned Society) and has twenty-five years relevant experience in government, industry, academia, the not-for-profit sector, and a demonstrated commitment to IChemE.

Neill Blundell

Board member

Neil has been involved in Energy for his entire career. Graduating in 1983, working non-nuclear sector on development and design of compact heat exchangers he obtained an MPhil(Eng) and then moved on to the development, of high temperature sodium-sulphur vehicle power batteries.

Claire MacLeod

Board member

Claire did a degree in chemical engineering at the University of Cambridge before working for Nestle in Switzerland.

David Platts

Board member

David is a Fellow of IChemE and a Fellow of New Zealand Institute of Food Science and Technology. Until late 2018, he was owner and Managing Director of PDV Consultants, which he founded in 1991.
