Nicklin Medal

Named after Don Nicklin, the long-standing head of chemical engineering at Queensland University, Australia and a successful consultant, who was renowned for supporting up and coming researchers. The Nicklin Medal is an early careers award and was introduced in 2014 to recognise talented chemical engineering researchers.

Who is it awarded to?

Nominees must, at the time of the awards nomination deadline, have no more than five years postdoctoral research experience and should have produced international quality research outputs.

How is the winner decided?

Nominations will be considered by IChemE’s Medals & Prizes Committee.

How do I enter or nominate somebody?

Nominations should be no more than 600 words and sent to medals@icheme.org
