Singapore shortlists announced for IChemE Awards 2013

The shortlists for the 2013 Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) Awards in Singapore have been announced today.

The winners will be announced at the IChemE Awards and Annual Dinner, sponsored by the Institution of Engineers Singapore, on 23 October 2013 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore.

The ceremony in Singapore is just one of a series of events organised by IChemE to celebrate excellence, innovation and achievement in the chemical and process industries across the world. Other IChemE events include award ceremonies in Malaysia (21 October 2013), North America (4 November 2013) and the UK (7 November 2013).

Awards organiser, Matt Stalker, said: "The IChemE Awards are now a global event each year and Singapore has some of the best chemical and process engineers in the world.

“We have received a fantastic set of entries again this year and all the judges would like to thank the individuals and organisations that have taken the time to support the awards and submit their impressive applications.

“There can be no better feeling than to receive an award from your peers and we believe this is what makes the IChemE Awards so special.

“I would also like to thank the judges for their hard work, expertise and knowledge. Each year we receive an ever growing and diverse range of applications and all the judges work incredibly hard to assess each entry in detail.

“We all look forward to seeing you at the awards ceremony for another fantastic evening showcasing the talent and success in the chemical and process industries in Singapore”.
