As IChemE grows internationally, special interest groups are rising to the challenge of delivering value to members worldwide. Volunteers are essential to this process – IChemE is its members – and there are many opportunities for individuals who'd like to get involved locally, and gain the respect that comes with playing an active role in IChemE.

Fluid Mixing Processes SIG 2017 Research Students Event

Fluid Mixing Processes Special Interest Group of the IChemE holds an annual meeting when UK based research students present their work. This year’s event took place at Loughborough University Chemical Engineering Department with over 20 attendees. Oral and poster presentations given by 10 students from Birmingham, Cambridge, London Southbank, Loughborough, Manchester Universities and University College London were from a wide range of topics reflecting the current trends in the field of mixing.
