Sin-Moh Cheah

Sin-Moh Cheah is a chemical engineer turned academic. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in chemical engineering from the National University of Singapore. He is the senior academic mentor at the School of Chemical and Life Sciences at Singapore Polytechnic (SP). He has been spearheading redesigning of the diploma in chemical engineering in SP using the CDIO framework since 2007.

Sin-Moh has conducted various CDIO workshops to many polytechnics and universities in Asia; and has published over 50 papers at various international conferences. His scholarly interests are evidence-based pedagogy, curriculum redesign, program evaluation and use of ICT in teaching and learning. In his professional capacity he is a Chartered Engineer registered with Engineering Council UK, and serves in various engineering committees in Singapore.
