Affiliate membership is for those with an interest in chemical engineering but who do not currently meet the requirements for other grades of IChemE membership.
Technician membership is for those working in process engineering support roles across industry and academia.
Associate membership is for those with degree-level knowledge and understanding of chemical engineering, typically working towards qualification as a Chartered Chemical Engineer.
Chartered membership is for professional chemical, biochemical and process engineers, and demonstrates your competence and commitment to employers, policy makers, regulators and society.
Fellow is our highest grade of membership and is reserved for Chartered Chemical Engineers who have made a significant contribution to chemical, biochemical and process engineering.
Associate Fellow recognises senior professionals working in the process industries who are not practising chemical engineers themselves.
