Aberdeen IChemE Curling Event - a success!

The Aberdeen Members’ Groups’ first Curling event kindly sponsored by Genesis took place on Friday 8th March at Curl Aberdeen. Members of all ages attended from various Aberdeen companies and Aberdeen University.
The night began with 30 minutes of coaching in which we learnt the basics required to play a few games. Coaching was then followed by 1h 30 minutes of very competitive curling. The night ended with the teams retiring to the bar area to chat over food and drinks.
Overall the event was enjoyed by all those that attended with most managing to stay on their feet for the whole 2 hours. An accomplishment in itself!
