Chemeca 2013 early bird registrations now open

Chemeca is the annual three day conference for the Australian and New Zealand community of chemical and process engineers and industrial chemists who come together to recognise achievement, share industry advancements and lessons learned. The event is set to take place on 29 September – 2 October at Queensland’s Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
This year's core theme 'Challenging Tomorrow', will bring a program of international and local industry leaders and academia, including IChemE president and chair of UK HSE Judith Hackitt, Dow Chemicals senior vice president Jim McIlvenny and Caltex Australia CEO Julian Segal.
Nominations for the Awards of Excellence in Chemical Engineering has been extended to 23 June. The Chemical Engineering Awards recognises outstanding achievement in chemical engineering with the most prestigious being the Chemeca Medal and will be presented at the conference dinner on 1 October.
Chemeca 2013 is hosted by the Australian and New Zealand Federation of Chemical Engineers (ANZFChE) comprising the Royal Australian Chemical Institute, IChemE in Australia, SCENZ-IChemE in New Zealand, Engineers Australia and the Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand.
