IChemE signs up to Knowledge Transfer group

IChemE has joined the Institute of Knowledge Transfer (IKT) as an organisational sponsor member with CEO, Dr David Brown also registering as an individual member.

The IKT aims to set standards for development of the knowledge transfer profession and address issues surrounding accreditation, certification and training.

Brown is joined in membership by IChemE’s technical projects manager, Sam Turney.

IKT President and Chairman, Sir Brian Fender MInstKT has welcomed the news: “I am delighted that IChemE has become an Organisational Sponsor Member of IKT. Discipline based professional bodies have an enormously important role to play in knowledge transfer and we very much look forward to working with IChemE on joint activities.”
