Danielle brings over twenty-five years relevant experience in project management, consulting, food and energy industries. She has a proven commitment to cross sector collaboration and to IChemE having supported initiatives and New Zealand governance.

A professional chartered engineer, she has worked in technical roles in the food, manufacturing, and energy industries, as well as project development and delivery. Roles have included refinery Front-End Manager, lead Process Design Engineer for upstream/oil and gas and downstream/petrochemical industries, along with process, environmental engineering and commissioning. Her current role is a Principal Project Manager in an international consulting firm working mainly in the Asia Pacific region.

A Fellow of IChemE, Danielle joined the Learned Society Committee in 2023. She is the LSC representative on Energy and Climate Action initiatives having led the drafting of the New Zealand member group climate change action plan and is currently supporting work group of Just Transition (priority topic for delivery against climate change). She has also been on the IChemE in NZ Board since 2020 and is currently the immediate past-chair.
