Amelia Stott

Amelia is a process commissioning engineer at Johnson Matthey, based in Hertfordshire. She has a passion for sustainable technologies and working towards a net zero future.

Amelia graduated with an MEng in chemical engineering with pharmaceutical chemistry from Heriot-Watt University in 2021.

After graduation she joined the Global Graduate Programme at Johnson Matthey rotating through roles covering sustainability, procurement and capital projects. She now works as a process commissioning engineer, leading part of the commissioning of a business-critical capital project.

Alongside her day job, Amelia is a webinar deputy for the IChemE UK&I National Early Careers Group, focused on providing information and support for those early in their chemical engineering career, students and future chemical engineers.
