IChemE celebrates its centenary in 2022

Help us plan and prepare for our 100th birthday!

It goes without saying that our centenary, IChemE100, is a once in a century opportunity to reflect upon and honour the work of chemical engineers past and present in their mission to deliver value to the society we serve. It's also an opportunity to identify the role of chemical engineering in helping to meet the challenges of the future.

We are opening up opportunities for members to become involved in this centenary project. We have five working parties, plus an overarching IChemE100 Steering Committee, to populate. We are looking for members with the drive, competency and time to contribute in helping us to plan and prepare to celebrate the past, present and future of our great profession.

The first three working parties will focus on developing content (what we are going to say), looking at the past, present or future of chemical engineering. There will also be a working party for identifying services (how we are going to say it) and a working party for developing platforms (where we are going to say it) and fundraising opportunities.

Each working party will have a maximum of 10 members, including the Chair.

All members are eligible to apply. This is an unpaid, voluntary role.

The deadline to apply as a member of any IChemE100 working party is 12:00 noon GMT on 31 January 2020.
