Overview

A high-level overview of Steam Generation: typical steam boiler configuration' water level control, feedpump operation, bottom blowdown and TDS blowdown, daily and weekly testing requirements and supervision (in accordance with boiler arrangement types), standards and ACOPS.

Attendees will all gain a high-level understanding and appreciation of how and why steam is able to address energy and sustainability concerns, and how optimum design and operation of the steam boiler can result in improved steam quality and energy efficiency, but also reduce the demand for testing, maintenance and supervision.

Working closely with the Spirax Sarco’s Area Engineering & Project Teams, Dan has many years’ experience with a broad range of Industrial Applications, working across many Engineering Disciplines.
