The First Steps into the Industry is a career mentoring series to help internship seekers, final year students and graduates explore career pathways in the post-pandemic energy industry. Session 4, hosted by University of Malaya IChemE Student Chapter, focuses on debunking various myths in the consulting industry.

The forum features three young engineers, coming from several different consulting firms operating in the oil & gas, chemicals and energy space. Speakers will introduce how the potential career pathways look like, provide career advice and guidance, and tips & tricks on getting a role in their respective industries.

The First Steps series is student-driven. Students and early career engineers are encouraged to ask questions and network with the speakers.
