Overview

This talk will address the current world emissions and the challenges to the industry. Briefly describe carbon capture, storage and utilization and present current and future technologies to help emission reduction. Some advanced projects in execution around the world will be presented and analysed.

Speaker

Dr Myrian Schenk, Technology Manager - CCUS and Gas Processing, Technip Energies

Myrian is a doctor in chemical engineering with over 20 years experience in the energy industries including CO2 capture, purification and management, sales gas export, and LNG.

Myrian is a subject matter and peer-recognized expert in gas processing in general. She is also a highly experienced modeler and has been involved in projects at all stages of execution, from conceptual design through FEED and detailed design.

Myrian has also been working on the GPAE management team for over 10 years and will be the Chair in November 2022.
