The speaker will talk about practical design insights and key lessons learned from working in a start-up environment.

James Hannay,  Process Engineer, Zincovery

James Hannay is a process engineer at Zincovery, a New Zealand start-up developing low-emission zinc recycling technology. Originally from the UK, James began his career with AB InBev – the world’s largest brewer – leading engineering teams to optimise production. Now based in Christchurch, he has made the move into the metals industry. He works across plant development, process flowsheet design, and scale-up planning. James is currently working towards IChemE Chartership.
