Overview

Fisher & Paykel Healthcare (F&P) is a New Zealand-based manufacturer of medical devices for respiratory care and obstructive sleep apnea. F&P’s purpose is to improve care and outcomes through inspired and world-leading healthcare solutions. Established in East Tamaki in the year 2000, F&P has grown to a global presence with staff located in 53 countries.

F&P’s East Tamaki location is the centre of its R&D and manufactures the full range of products used in hospitals and for homecare. The tour commences at 9:30 NZST and will cover:

• A walkthrough of an F&P manufacturing plant.
• A walkthrough of F&P’s advanced laboratories, modelshops, and makerspaces.
• A speaking panel and Q&A with recent graduates.

This tour is a collaboration between the Chemical and Materials Engineering Students’ Association (CMESA), IChemE, and Fisher & Paykel Healthcare. We look forward to welcoming our student IChemE and CMESA colleagues at F&P and exhibiting our unique manufacturing processes. Food and light refreshments will be provided.
