Overview

Our annual early career welcome event is aimed at Chemical and Process Engineers in Lancashire. If you are a student or academic, early in your career or an experienced engineer, this event has something for you.

During the evening will have a short presentation on the North Lancs Member Group, and how IChemE can help you in your career.
A buffet will be provided, along with time for networking and catching up with colleagues.

Our guest speaker for the evening is Russ Magnal, former police commander and wellbeing and resilience coach. Russ will give us a grounding in resilience skills for engineering, delivered in his engaging and memorable style.

Following the presentations, we will head to the Flower Bowl Entertainment Centre's indoor minigolf course to continue the social.

This event is a really good way to find out more about the role the IChemE can play in your career, and to meet new friends and colleagues from around our area. Please get in touch if you have any questions!

Russ Magnall, Wellbeing Coach, Safe and Sound Wellbeing

Russ Magnall police career included roles such as Police Wellbeing Coach, Dog Handler, Counter Terrorist Search Specialist and Front-Line Commander. He now runs Safe and Sound Wellbeing.
