Overview

As part of our ongoing commitment to support members working towards professional registration, we are hosting an in‑person workshop focused on the Competence and Commitment (C&C) requirements for Chartered status. Whether you are just beginning, currently preparing, or nearing submission of your C&C report, this workshop will help you strengthen and refine your application.

The session will cover all areas of the report competencies and the professional review interview. Attendees will benefit from discussion‑based activities, breakout sessions, and direct feedback from professional reviewers and IChemE staff. There will also be opportunities to work on drafting examples and evidence during the day.

This workshop is free for IChemE members, and refreshments and lunch will be provided. Places are limited, so we encourage early registration to secure your spot.

Dave Russell, Technical Director and Principal Consultant, Leviticus Energies

David is technical director and principal consultant at Leviticus Energies and a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of IChemE.

Toby St Leger, Technical Safety Lead, Harbour Energy

Toby is a Fellow of IChemE with over 29 years of experience in the oil and gas and chemical manufacturing sectors. Their work spans operations, design, and construction across offshore production, onshore processing, decommissioning, and carbon capture. They have collaborated extensively with regulators like the HSE and industry bodies including The Energy Institute and Offshore Energy UK.
