Overview

The transition towards electrified industry is already happening, driven by the need for greater energy efficiency and lower-carbon operations. With many technologies now commercially available, electrification is moving from concept to practical implementation across industrial sectors.

However, as energy systems evolve, so must our approach to process safety. Although electrical hazards are well understood and supported by established design practices, the application of electrification within complex process environments raises important questions around risk management, safeguards, and system design.

This webinar will bring together industry experts to explore the process safety challenges and opportunities associated with electrification and discuss how engineers can ensure safe integration of new technologies into future industrial systems.
