Overview

The Technical Training and Mentorship Committee of the IChemE Trinidad and Tobago Member Group is hosting a webinar on the Capital Value Process (CVP). This webinar will provide an initial introduction on the history and benefits of the CVP process, followed by an in-depth analysis of the five key stages of CVP, including the typical deliverables at each project stage, as well as 'rules of thumb' for typical roles and responsibilities through the process. In addition, the webinar will also cover the role of proper Front End Loading (FEL), Management of Change (MOC) within the CVP framework, as well as ideas that can be applied by all attendees to improve their own projects by virtue of Value Improvement Practices (VIPs).

Speaker

Mark Baldeo, Project Management Consultant, Arkulus Solutions

Mark possesses over nineteen years experience in the Oil & Gas sector, having functioned as Project Manager and Project Leader on several large scale, high impact CAPEX projects in both offshore and onshore applications. He holds an M.Sc. in Project Management from the U.W.I. St. Augustine and currently leads project management consultancy services through his business, Arkulus Solutions. In addition, Mark is a strong advocate of enhancing business value through the use of key project management tools and techniques, to deliver projects safely and within budget.
