Overview

The plant-based food sector is rapidly transitioning from a niche lifestyle into a mainstream market driver. Driven by rising health consciousness, flexitarian dining habits, and sustainability concerns, consumer demand for alternative proteins is accelerating across urban centers. This webinar explores plant-based landscape, spotlighting key trends such as the localization of alternative proteins, the utilization of indigenous crops (like jackfruit and mushrooms), and the immense potential of Halal-certified plant-based products for regional export. Furthermore, the presentation assesses the environmental imperatives—demonstrating how plant-forward diets reduce resource strain, cut emissions, and foster agricultural resilience.

Attendees will gain practical insights into untapped market opportunities, price parity challenges, and strategies for F&B operators, innovators, and retailers to capture value in this dynamic market.
