Congratulations to Patrick Kearns for being awarded the IChemE Food & Drink Special Interest Group Student Project Prize for 2023. Patrick's report focused on the extraction of beta-glucan hydrocolloids for use in chocolate and was conducted during his MSc in Chemical Engineering at the University of Nottingham. The Project Prize in 2023 was sponsored by Pentadel Project Management.
