Speaker

Mike Allen, Supply Chain Sustainability Lead, Haleon

Mike has been a supply chain professional in both in pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare business, joining GSK 20 years ago as Site Director. This encouraged a passion for sustainability where he became a founding member of the GSK Consumer Healthcare sustainability team. Mike revels in finding opportunities to enact real change that reduces environmental impact and to deliver on large sustainability initiatives. A very exciting part of his role has involved developing circular supply chains that incorporate safe recycling of healthcare products and packaging. Other opportunities have led to find opportunities to invest in projects to be track for 100% renewable electricity by 2025 and to convert tubes portfolios to aluminium free recyclable plastic barrier laminate working in partnership with Albea and EPL Global.
