The Research & Innovation Special Interest Group are pleased to offer a tour of the Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) in Wilton.

CPI is a leading UK-based independent technology and innovation organisation, and a founding member of the UK Government’s High Value Manufacturing (HVM) Catapult. CPI acts as a bridge across the ""valley of death"" in research and development—helping academia, start-ups, and established enterprises translate early-stage scientific discoveries into commercially viable, market-ready products and manufacturing processes. CPI operate in a wide range of industries including sustainable materials, energy materials, industrial biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and biologics, health tech, electronics and digital.

Attendees will explore state-of-the-art pilot facilities and learn how cross-sector collaboration accelerates next-generation manufacturing to market. Ideal for industry leaders, researchers, and innovators looking to scale transformative technologies, this event offers key operational insights and high-value networking opportunities with technical experts.

The site visit to CPI will include an introduction to who CPI are and examples of work they do, followed by a tour of their labs and biotech facilities.
