Who are we
Welcome to the IChemE Safety Centre team
I am happy to announce that the new IChemE Safety Centre (ISC) team; myself, Fiona Macleod and Paul Battersby, have recently completed our first collective month working in our new roles. We are now all onboard and at your service.
Collectively, since we all joined at different times between May and June, it has been a time of familiarising ourselves with the organisation, the people and the way we would like to do things. A particular focus has been on the context of the ISC and how we integrate with, and support delivery of, the future aspirations of IChemE.
The activities of volunteers are crucial to IChemE. The ISC will continue to seek to better understand, define, grow, and strengthen, the connectivity of the process safety thread weaving itself across the tapestry of this organisation.
To this end, we are now very much open to consultation with you on the process safety activities in your groups and how the ISC can continuously improve engagement across the wider organisation. Please feel free to engage with us so we can listen to your inputs.
With your support, we can work together to continually improve the understanding of safety in all its forms across this great Institution.
