Objectives

Our groups main objectives are to:

• promote networking opportunities for our members throughout the island of Ireland, via a range of organised events, comprising CPD lectures, site visits, seminars and social events
• assist with the professional development of members in Ireland who are progressing towards Chartered Member by providing mentoring support, career development seminars and Get Chartered sessions
• promote the profession of chemical engineering in Ireland, particularly through schools/university liaison, outreach projects and careers events
• maximise value for money and all possible benefits for Irish chemical engineers from professional bodies
• create a broad and diverse community for Irish chemical engineers that spans the relevant universities, industries and professional bodies
• replicate successful arrangements that exist with Engineers Ireland for engagement of government, media, NGOs and other overseas-based professional bodies.
