Patricia gained a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Aberdeen with an MSc in Oil and Gas Engineering. Patricia has over 7 years of experience in the oil and gas industry (Wood Group and ADIL) and is actively working towards Chartered Engineer status.

She has broad experience and expertise in the oil and gas sector focusing on the early stages of the project life cycle (exploration, appraisal and select) where there is greater potential to add value and direct the project towards success.

Then, using a combination of industry proven software (Que$tor, OGM, 3esi-Enersight, PC Oil Plan), she estimates the CAPEX/OPEX/ABEX, equipment list, equipment weight, PFDs, preliminary project schedules, optimisation of drilling centres and pipeline distances to the host facility and generates inputs for economic evaluation.

Patricia has worked on a variety of offshore concept types (processing platform, minimum facility platforms, normally unmanned installation, subsea, FPSO, semi-sub developments) and onshore applications.

Patricia was awarded with the IChemE Chairman’s Award 2019 for the best contribution to the industry and local community in the Aberdeen area.
