Jason Murtagh will provide an overview of crystallisation science. The effects of particle size and shape are reviewed. The various crystallisation processes and equipment are discussed as are the impact of process conditions. Crystallisation of bio-pharmaceuticals is reviewed.

Jason Murtagh is lead process engineer with DPS group. He has extensive experience in the process industries. His specialties include: Process design, new product introduction, new technology introduction, design from lab scale to large scale, solvent recovery, commissioning, process optimisation, industrial data modelling/PAT - installation and data analysis.
