Overview

An energy engineer with the UK Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy will give an overview of government energy policy objectives, introduce the MacKay Carbon Calculator for creating pathways to net zero, and suggest opportunities in the pharma industry.

Patrick Royce, Energy Engineer, BEIS

Dr Patrick Royce is a Chartered member of IChemE and an energy engineer with BEIS, providing engineering advice to the UK government Net Zero Innovation Portfolio and policy teams on low carbon technologies, with experience of bulk pharmaceuticals process design and operation from former roles.
