Our Affiliate Members make hugely important contributions throughout their careers and are often:

• working in, or with an interest in, the field of chemical and process engineering and related sectors
• university staff teaching or supporting elements of a chemical engineering curriculum, who are not chemical engineers themselves
• graduates with a non-accredited first degree in chemical engineering. (Note that you may be eligible to submit an Individual Case Procedure (ICP) assessment of qualification(s) to satisfy the requirements for Associate membership)
• graduates (or postgraduate students) with a first degree in a subject other than chemical engineering, working towards Associate Member (AMIChemE).
