Join us for the next IChemE Employer and Education Partner networking lunch, taking place this December at the National Railway Museum, York, alongside the IChemE Global Awards.

The Global Awards celebrate excellence, innovation and achievement across the chemical engineering profession. Taking place alongside the awards, this networking lunch will explore how we can better support chemical engineers beyond the early stages of their careers.

As careers become more specialised and leadership responsibilities grow, development pathways can become less visible. This event will bring together representatives from industry, academia and the profession to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing mid-career chemical engineers, and the role IChemE can play in supporting continuous professional development, career progression and professional identity.

The meeting will provide an opportunity to share perspectives, build new connections and help shape future support for the chemical engineering community. A detailed agenda will be shared with registered attendees in advance of the event.

This event is open to Employer Partner and Education Partner representatives.

For many chemical engineers, development pathways become less visible after the early career stage. As careers become more specialised and leadership responsibilities grow, how can engineers continue to develop the skills and networks they need to thrive?

This session will explore the mid-career experience and the role IChemE can play in supporting professional development, career progression and professional identity.
