Code of Conduct and Ethics

Code of Conduct and Ethics

All members of IChemE, at any grade, are required to maintain the highest standards of professional conduct.

This Code sets out the expected standards for professional conduct and behaviours, but it is the responsibility of members to interpret and apply the requirements in the context of their own work and activities.

The term ‘member’ as used in this Code applies to all members of IChemE, irrespective of membership grade.

Members working outside the UK should comply with the provisions of this Code of Conduct and Ethics unless to do so would cause them to breach local laws or regulations or any applicable local code of conduct.

The Code of Conduct and Ethics is established by IChemE Regulations and is maintained by the Board of Trustees.
