IChemE Singapore Awards 2015 shortlists announced

The shortlists for the IChemE Singapore Awards 2015 have been announced with nearly 30 entries making the final stages of the awards on 22 October 2015.
The IChemE Singapore Awards celebrate excellence, innovation and achievement in the chemical, process and biochemical industries.
Successful organisations shortlisted include Singapore Polytechnic, Glaxo Wellcome Manufacturing, Seraya Chemicals Singapore, Newcastle University, Nanyang Technological University and Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
The winners of the Singapore awards will be announced on 22 October 2015 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore. The ceremony in Singapore is just one of several international events organised by IChemE to celebrate the achievements of the chemical engineering profession. Other events include the IChemE Malaysia Awards (26 October 2015) and the IChemE Global Awards (5 November 2015).
The winners of the IChemE Singapore Awards will be automatically shortlisted for the IChemE Global Awards, held in Birmingham, UK, including the overall Award for Outstanding Achievement in Chemical and Process Engineering, which will be selected from nearly 500 entries received worldwide.
IChemE deputy chief executive, Justin Blades, said: 'We have received a record-breaking number of entries in Singapore this year and all the judges would like to thank the individuals and organisations that have taken the time to support the awards once again and submit their impressive applications.
“There can be no better feeling than to receive an award from your peers and we believe this is what makes the IChemE Awards so special and sought after across the world.

The IChemE Singapore Awards 2015 is being supported by Shell, Johnson Matthey, ABB and GSK.
