Executive MBA from MIT Sloan Management School, resident in Boston majored in ESG governance, Finance and digital transformation. Non-Executive Director supporting start-ups in Australia.
Built from the ground up a Global transformational Operational risk strategy for Unilever, global FMCG operation. Established risk appetite across supply chain functions, focused on whole of organisation risk culture uplift. Operated across multiple global data privacy laws bringing together one corporate risk management framework, established global policy for responsible use of AI ready for EU AI Act. Transformed ESG digital strategy, built confidence in ISSB reporting. Built diverse ~ 500 technical strong talent across 45 countries managing diverse risk portfolio.
Delivered global digital transformation integrating responsible AI and digital twins, enabling frontline operations make sustainable, safe and reliable decisions. Australian representative in ISO 42 committee on Responsible use of Artificial Intelligence.
Experience with BP, Exxon, BHP and Unilever in US, Australia, middle east and South Africa. Led delivery of Exxon PNG LNG and Asia Pacific LNG. In early 2000, was design engineer for multiple Bioethanol facilities in USA and commissioned the first Gas to Liquids facility in Qatar for Sasol.
Thought leader and invited chair at Asia pacific conference on AI and digital transformation, Chaired Australia’s 2023 Tech in Government Summit. Masters in Chemical Engineering sponsored by BHP on Biomineral processing from University of Cape Town in 1999. Actively involved in IChemE since early 2000 as chartered assessor, led several working groups for IChemE Safety centre and instrumental in engaging more Chemical Engineers to actively learn and contribute to use of AI and machine learning to solve everyday engineering challenges.
