Iftikhar Ul Haq is a seasoned chemical engineer with over 25 years of experience in the hydrocarbon industry, specialising in ammonia-urea production, hydrogen studies, and low-carbon energy solutions. Currently serving as the senior specialist, business performance operations and projects at ADNOC, UAE. He has a proven track record in process optimisation, plant operations, and decarbonisation strategies.
Throughout his career, Iftikhar Ul Haq has played a pivotal role in major engineering projects, technical evaluations, and feasibility studies, particularly in hydrogen value chain development and process safety enhancements. His expertise spans process simulation, energy efficiency, catalyst performance monitoring, and plant reliability improvements. He has successfully led projects involving advanced process control, equipment modifications, and sustainable technology integration across leading organisations, including FERTIGLOBE UAE and Qatar Fertiliser Company.
In addition to professional achievements, Iftikhar Ul Haq is deeply committed to continuous learning and industry mentorship. He is currently pursuing a Level 8 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership from LSBR UK. Since 2021, he has actively volunteered as an industrial assessor for Chartered Membership applicants at IChemE UK, supporting aspiring chemical engineers in their professional growth.
