Rosa Vidal Vazquez

Rosa is a chemical engineer who graduated from Universitat Rovira i Virgili in Spain in 2005. Following her graduation, she embarked on an adventure to the UK, joining Bechtel in February 2006 as part of their graduate program. This opportunity enabled her to work on a variety of extraordinary projects around the globe, gaining over 19 years of experience in engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), commissioning, and start-up roles.

Her journey has taken her to multiple countries, including the UK, India, Italy, Korea, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Chile, both on-site and in office settings. She is currently part of the Bechtel Energy Water Center of Excellence and has recently been promoted to Area Project Manager.

Passionate about giving back to the profession that has given her so much, Rosa actively shares her knowledge and experiences with others in the field. She is as a mentor, a STEM Ambassador, and a three-time speaker at the Annual Conference of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE).

By participating in these events, she aims to inspire and guide the next generation of engineers, helping them navigate their careers and achieve their professional goals.
