Cedric Hanson

A recently retired, award-winning chemical engineer and Fellow of IChemE, Cedric spent over 38 years with BOC and the Linde Group in senior technical, innovation and strategy roles. He worked closely with global R&D teams and led international product development and commercialisation in the chemicals, food and beverage, energy, water, and environmental sectors.

A Chartered Engineer, he has received several innovation awards, including from IChemE, and has mentored many engineers to chartership and beyond. He currently chairs IChemE’s Environment and Clean Technology SIG.

On the Learned Society Committee, he brings a life-long interest and passion for innovation, sustainability and knowledge sharing.
