Donna Harkin

Donna is a chemical engineer with experience in process engineering and sustainability strategy development in the foundation industries and built environment. Donna currently works at Tetra Tech, where she works within sustainability, supporting companies to calculate their carbon emissions and establish their sustainability strategies.

Donna holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Hull, where her master’s project focused on simulating industrial process control in an academic setting.

In addition to her work as a member of the Learned Society Committee, Donna currently volunteers for the IChemE as a committee member of the Sustainability Special Interest Group and as a STEM Ambassador advocating for the industry.
