Annual General Meeting 2021

The 2021 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held as a virtual meeting on Monday 14 June 2021, commencing at 08:00 BST. All documentation relating to the AGM is available below.

While all members may attend the meeting, only Voting Members (Fellows and Chartered Members) are entitled to vote.

In addition to the ordinary business of the AGM, a poll is being conducted ahead of the meeting on Special Resolutions to update the Royal Charter and By-Laws. Members will recall that at the time of the 2018 AGM, it was agreed that the Royal Charter and By-Laws would be kept under continual review, to allow any necessary amendments to be brought forward on a regular basis.

A number of ballots for vacancies on the Board of Trustees, Congress and the Learned Society Committee (LSC) are also being conducted at the same time.

In order to validate AGM attendees for voting purposes, pre-registration is essential, therefore please follow the instructions below to register:

  1. Complete the online registration form
  2. Guidelines on how to vote on the day (video)

The registration site will close at 17:00 BST on Wednesday 9 June 2021.

On 11 June 2021, our independent electoral service provider, Mi-Voice, will distribute a Zoom invitation to all attendees containing a unique link for joining the meeting. A further email will be sent to those voting members who have registered, providing a unique voting code to be used during the meeting to approve the minutes of the previous meeting and the re-appointment of the Institution’s external auditors for 2021.

Towards the end of the AGM, members will have the opportunity to ask questions relating to the Annual Review and Financial Accounts or the annual report from Congress via the ‘chat’ function available in Zoom.
