DiscoverChemEngLIVE is a unique event for school students to discover chemical and process engineering.

An interactive exhibition featuring companies and organisations from a range of chemical engineering industries such as Welsh Water, Zulu Join Integrity, InSite Technical, Dow Silicones and AtkinsRealis. As well as hands-on activities and opportunities to speak with working chemical and process engineers there will be a Hydrogen-powered car on display and visits to the university pilot plant.

DiscoverChemEngLIVE is free and is open to school groups within easy reach of the venue at Swansea University, Bay Campus. For 12 to 18-year-old school students (y8-y13). Group size of up to 30 young people, plus teaching and/or support staff from your school or college.

Choose from one of two sessions:

• Morning 10:00‒12:00 GMT (30 student places available)
• Afternoon 12:45–14:30 GMT (new time)
