We reserve the right to alter or cancel the programme. We reserve the right to deny entry or to ask individuals to leave at our discretion.

Essential information

• DiscoverChemEngLIVE will take place at IChemE, a working office environment with limited access to certain areas.
• Photography and filming will occur at DiscoverChemEngLIVE; teaching staff must ensure permissions are completed. We’ll provide consent forms in advance, and also stickers to clearly identify anyone not to be photographed on the day.
• Young people are the responsibility of their school or college staff throughout the event, even when they are exploring the exhibition area independently. Including safeguarding, behaviour, and a fire/evacuation register.
• No school bags, food, or drink bottles are permitted on site (water may be provided if needed) but mobile phones may be helpful.
• There is no provision for lunch onsite.
• Emergency contact number for one of the teachers attending must be provided.
• Limited parking, which must be arranged in advance) on-site.
