ACTS update: Enhanced support and new resources

We’re pleased to introduce Mark Jackson, Accreditation Specialist, who recently joined the Membership and Qualifications team. Mark will also be working alongside the Regional Engagement Team to provide enhanced support to ACTS organisations. He will play a key role in helping companies understand and align with accreditation requirements under the updated Chartered Member application process.

To support the transition to the new single-stage Chartered Member application process, we’ve updated key ACTS resources:

• ACTS Guidance Document: This revised document aligns with the new single-stage application process and will be available soon.
• New ACTS Manual Template: The updated template has been reviewed to reflect the new requirements and will support companies in developing or refreshing their training scheme documentation.

ACTS Manager Workshop

We’re excited to host our next ACTS Manager Workshop on 28 November, taking place remotely to maximise accessibility across the network.

This session is a valuable opportunity to:

• gain deeper insight into the IChemE membership processes
• understand how recent changes affect your ACTS scheme and trainees
• hear directly from the Membership and Qualifications team
• ask questions and share feedback with IChemE staff and other ACTS organisations
• connect with peers and exchange good practice.
