The London and South East Members Group's Young Members' Forum is pleased to invite you to UCL for a lecture by Professor Marc-Olivier Coppens, about Nature Inspired Chemical Engineering.
Located in Bloomsbury, London, UCL is a renowed university, especially for research and ground breaking discoveries. Research in the Centre for Nature Inspired Engineering is focused around three themes, corresponding to three fundamental mechanisms, which it sees as most timely for exploration: hierarchical transport networks, force balancing and dynamic self-organisation.
Speaker
Professor Marc-Olivier Coppens is the Ramsay Memorial Professor and Head of Department of Chemical Engineering at UCL. He is also Director of the UCL-based Centre for Nature Inspired Engineering, which won an EPSRC “Frontier Engineering” Award in 2013.
