Overview

The visit will provide an overview of the facility’s waste‑recovery operations, including mechanical treatment and energy‑recovery processes, and will offer participants the opportunity to observe current practices in sustainable waste management aligned with circular‑economy principles.

Chris Harbottle, Waste Services Team Leader, will conduct a site visit and provide an overview of the process.

The site operates a reverse parking policy (for safety). There will be a short induction and visitors will need to wear trousers, closed-toe flat shoes and a long sleeve top to be able to go out on site. All other PPE items will be provided at site.
